When we first opened our doors for business on August 1st, 1990, the staff initially consisted of Jim and Bill (now retired), who answered phones, recorded sound effects and foley, mixed the shows, did all the transfers, and cleaned the studio. It quickly became obvious that hiring help was the only way to keep up with an increasing work load.

A group of 16 talented people have been assembled since those early days, and the studios now produce more than 200 half-hour episodes of broadcast programming, along with dozens of special projects ranging from promos and pilots to feature films and direct-to-video productions in surround sound. Collectively we have become a well-oiled machine.

Over the years we have been among the first to take advantage of astounding technological advancements. Digital multi-tracks have replaced analog tape recorders, hard disk digital video decks are used in place of 3/4 inch video cassette recorders, and all editorial and mixing has become digital and random-access. This technology has streamlined operations and placed the most powerful and flexible audio tools into the hands of our editors and mixers. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our services and keep ahead of the changing demands of our business. We look forward to applying our skills in challenging new ways as the projects become more sophisticated, and technology used in bringing them to their audience evolves.
